Here is a brief overview of what Acquia Lift is. Essentially, it’s a system developed by Acquia that allows you to personalize the content on your website. If someone visits for the first time — display this text. They’re coming in from Boston? Show them this text.


It gives you complete control so that the content on your website is customized to the user’s presumed preferences.





What does it look like?

Take a look at the following image. You’ll see how Acquia Lift breaks down the process. You create a Campaign, Segment that campaign (users from Boston, etc.), then assign variations (variations of a specific page based on the segments).




You can see here how easy it is. It breaks down everything into What, Why, Who and When. Of course you’ll need to set up a few things beforehand, but you get the overall idea here.
