About the Project

One Man Ready is a partnership project we did with jBlue Productions — a PR firm here in Delray Beach. Our partner approached us with a unique proposition — help us find our, single doctor friend, a wife.

 

Problem

This was a totally new idea for us. You get the ability to really impact an individual’s life and in a completely unique and major way. It’s not something you want to mess up.

Where do you start with something like this? How do you gain traction and how to you get actual real women to apply?

 

Solution

We began by positioning our bachelor with a mode of secrecy and allure. We got to know him, what he was looking for in a potential partner. nDigit quickly spun up a responsive website to handle the applications coming in.

After launching we needed to increase the exposure of this new concept so we set up Pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to drive traffic to the application. Within a month, and a small budget, we started to see the traffic flooding in. Our ads were delivering 3-4x the average click through rates! People were going to the website and reading the material (the average visit was 2:40 long).

Soon we started to see applications arrive. While ~6% had actually converted to the form (internet-wide average is ~2.35%) we wanted to see even more convert. We decided to integrate heatmapping software to better understand how our visitors move around the site. If you don’t know what that is, there are a few pictures in the gallery above.

This software allowed us to continue to optimize the website and fine-tune items that could help increase conversions. The tests proved to be useful and allowed us to optimize the content on the website.
